Day 2 - 4 |
Collect hire car and drive to stay for three nights on bed & breakfast basis at The Last Word Constantia.
This private villa is situated in one of Cape Town’s most famous and beautiful suburbs in the heart of the picturesque Constantia winelands. It is minutes away from the chic Constantia Mall, with its wide variety of fashionable shops and restaurants, and lies a short drive from the many attractions of the city. The large bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, under-floor heating & satellite TV, and there is also a luxury swimming pool with its surrounding tanning deck landscaped and sunk below ground level to ensure privacy.

Day 5 - 7 |
Drive into the beautiful wine region to Franschhoek to spend three nights on bed & breakfast basis at The Last Word Franschhoek.
Right on the main street of this charming little town in the heart of the Winelands is this beautifully restored Cape Huguenot-styled building. Its six suites are large, light and airy and come complete with their own private terrace. There is an enclosed courtyard with its own swimming pool and superb service throughout the day. An ideal location for travelling gourmets to enjoy the local wines and some of the outstanding restaurants of the area.

Day 8 - 10 |
Drive along the Garden Route to Plettenberg Bay to stay for three nights on bed & breakfast basis at the Robberg Beach Lodge.
This collection of luxurious villas are located just an 800 metres safe walk from the famous Robberg Beach, a World Heritage site and often home to whales and dolphins. The en-suite rooms all have their own terrace, and facilities such as flatscreen TV, air-conditioning, and CD player. Weather permitting, breakfast is served on the pool terrace, and there is also an honesty bar and free wireless internet. Sundowners are served on the rooftop deck allowing for panoramic views of the ocean and Robberg Nature Reserve.

Drive onward to stay for three nights on full board basis, to include safari activities, in the Amakhala Game Reserve at Leeuwenbosch.
This 5000-hectare historical and malaria-free game reserve creates an ideal environment for an unforgettable safari and an intimate experience of the varied landscape, including breathtaking views of the Bushman's River. All the rooms open on to a wide colonial verandah, overlooking indigenous gardens, rolling lawns and the quaintly charming Leeuwenbosch Chapel. There is also a central dining room and barbecue area, lounge bar and swimming pool. Activities offered include morning & afternoon game drives and escorted bush walks.
