Overnight British Airways flight to Lusaka

Days 2-4

Connecting flight to the South Luangwa to stay for three nights at Nkwali Camp. Set deep in thicket and wooded glades, this intimate lodge accommodates just 12 guests in spacious chalets, each with a unique shower open to the moonlit sky! Days 5-6

Fly to Livingstone to stay for three nights at the romantic Sindabezi Island, the only island lodge in the Victoria Falls area which lies on the Upper Zambezi river. Accessed by boat and offering canoeing and boat excursions, Sindabezi accommodates guests in thatch and reed chalets, all en-suite and offering spectacular views. With a maximum of just eight guests this is the ultimate retreat from the hectic activity of Victoria Falls. (FB)

Fly to Johannesburg and stay overnight at the Metcourt Laurel. (BB)

Days 8-13

Fly north to the Mozambique town of Vilanculos and transfer onward by boat across to Benguerra Island to stay for six nights at Benguerra Lodge. The perfect spot for a magical escape, accommodation is in delightful casitas & cabanas lying on the beach, and activities include SCUBA diving, snorkelling and sundowner trips on a traditional dhow boat. The less energetic can simply enjoy the wonderful birdlife, wildlife and spectacular beaches and sunsets. (FB)
