Dear Felicity, We had a wonderful time in S Africa, and we both thought Bushmans Kloof was magnificent! We gave it "excellent" ratings in virtually all the categories in the client questionnaire they ask you to complete when you leave. James, the assistant general manager, runs an excellent ship, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, our Ranger, Regardt, extremely knowledgeable, as well as being very pleasant and charming, and the girls in the Spa were also excellent. The food, wines and service were also excellent. The layout of the lodge complex was very cleverly designed and the various facilities beautifully and tastefully decorated. Thank you for booking us one of the rooms overlooking the river and the opposite cliff. The view from our balcony was stunning. Thank you too and Africa Travel for arranging an evening dining in the bush at Kadoro. This was a real surprise and treat for us, and something we will always remember. It was most kind and thoughtful of you. Seeing the bushman's rock art with Regardt was fascinating. He clearly had a strong understanding of the bushman's culture which made what we were seeing even more memorable. On the evening game drives we saw an African Wild Cat very close to the vehicle, and a Caracal with a Springbok kill, both of which Regardt told us were very rare sightings! I was very fortunate to see these elusive animals so very clearly. I thought you would like to know that we saw the Africa Travel promotion of Bushmans Kloof and other of the Tollman lodges and hotels in the Tatler magazine during our stay in Hermanus, which was also a great experience.
