Masai Mara Game Reserve
Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve, it is the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti Park, and has rich grassland dotted with flat-topped acacia trees. The park is home to numerous animals, and is the setting for the spectacular annual Great Migration when over 1 million wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River to reach newer pastures, where predators such as leopard and lion lie in wait. Beyond the National Park are a number of private concessionary areas where, in addition to daytime game drives, night drives & game walks are also permitted.
