Central Africa
|
Where the first explorers set out to discover and map the great unknown continent. Unrivalled game-viewing and wide open wilderness are the trademarks of Zambia, from tracking the magnificent wildlife in the South & North Luangwa National Parks, to bird-watching in the Kafue & Lochinvar National Parks. The mighty Zambezi river provides a wonderful contrast, whilst the Victoria Falls are an experience in themselves.
Malawi, the ‘warm heart of Africa’, is sculptured by the Great Rift Valley, and boasts safari opportunities in the Liwonde & Nyika National Parks. However, it is the Lake Malawi which is nearly 600kms long and which offers an unusual beach stay, for which this land-locked paradise is most famous.
